The Uninhabitable Earth by David Wallace-Wells writes about our climate in a very direct and unforgiving way. The design cuts to the point of just how sharp this reality is, attracts the eye and uses details poetically to reflect on the topic at hand.

The tear rips the cover in half vertically, cutting off the very ending of the word ‘Earth’. This detail essentially holds most of the meaning in the design.
